Dear SASPP member,

After consultation with the Organising Committee of the 2022 SASPP Biennial Congress, which was due to be held in January 2022 at Future Africa in Pretoria, the SASPP Council has decided to postpone the Congress to the week of 1-5 August 2022.  Please diarise this date but take note that it may still change due to circumstances beyond our control. 

The general consensus of opinion is that the worst of the COVID-19 storm will have passed by then, and hopefully a significant increase in COVID vaccinations will have occurred.  We trust that a “face to face” congress at Future Africa will then be possible. 

We as SASPP Council apologise for this belated announcement but much thought has gone into this difficult decision.
